If you’re a Brie lover like me, GET READY. I am a huge turkey sandwich lover too, but adding Brie and toasting it in butter just takes it to the next level. The greens keep it fresh tasting and the mustard is the perfect way to tie it all together. But seriously, the Brie is the best freaking part!
It’s a simple lunch that’s quick and easy to make. But it’s got a little something special, so it feels more fun than your usual cold deli turkey sandwich. It’s basically an adult grilled cheese, although my 4-year-old loves it too – but I serve her’s without the whole grain mustard; too “spicy” for her. The best part is it only takes a few minutes to prepare with a handful of ingredients so it’s totally approachable.
It’s the perfect comfort food. Just enough ooey gooey cheese and crispy, buttered bread to feel indulgent, but it’s also balanced out by the fresh greens and the tangy flavor of the whole grain mustard. When I’m craving something warm and comforting this is my go-to sandwich combination!
