[LOOK] 21 Beauty Tricks Every Woman Should Know

Ladies, our lives are hard. Anything we can do to save some time here and there or make life easier in any way is always welcome.

These beauty hacks are not only meant to make your life easier but they are also great ways to save money. You don’t need thousands of dollars to stock up on every single makeup tool under the sun.

 1-Shave Your Legs With Conditioner

Forget shaving gel/cream. Use the same conditioner you use for your hair (or something cheaper) and you’ll find that you get a smoother shave and can go longer without needing to shave.

2-Amazing 2 Ingredients All-Natural Homemade Face Masks:

Honey and Lemon: Honey and lemon are great for killing bacteria (goodbye acne), and lightening

your skin. So if you have old acne scars, this is the stuff you need to slather on your skin.

Honey and Coffee: If you want to tighten your skin, then this is the mask to make. Both work in unison to give you firmer, more youthful, skin. An awesome anti-aging duo (not to mention coffee’s antioxidants fight free radicals (the stuff that makes you age).

3- Keep makeup remover next to your bed :

you have zero excuses not to take off your makeup before you go to sleep. Sleeping with your makeup on can cause breakouts and infections. So on nights when you’re exhausted and can’t imagine standing at the sink for longer than 30 seconds, you’ll be thankful to have this stuff stashed next to your bed. (But really, help your face and reserve this hack for extreme lazy emergencies only.)

4-The perfect manicure …

1) Do a simple French manicure

Start with two coats of a sheer pink color. Once it dries, pull a rubber band taut over the top of your nail so that a sliver of tip is showing. Then paint with white nail polish. Merci!

3) Make your lip color last

After applying lipstick, hold a tissue over your lips and lightly dust with translucent powder. The tissue ensures you get just the right amount of powder, which sets the color and absorbs excess oils that can cause smudging.

4) Lock in scent

Dab a bit of Vaseline onto pulse points before spritzing on perfume. The Vaseline hangs onto the scent so it lasts and lasts.5) Keep nail polish neat with Vaseline

Before painting your nails, use a q-tip to apply Vaseline on the skin surrounding nail beds to prevent polish from staining skin.

5-Whitening your nails :

Your fingernails can take on a yellowish tint if you use lots of different dark polish colors. To make them look clean and white again, soak a cotton wool pad in lemon juice, wrap it around your nail, and then cover it with foil. Keep it like this for 10-15 minutes, then remove.

Stain removal with lemon juice

You will need:

  • Cotton pads
  • Aluminum foil
  • Lemon

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Soak the cotton pads in lemon juice. Make sure the cotton pads are really soaked in lemon juice. You might want to rub a slice of lemon on the cotton pads
  2. Wrap your nails with cotton pads
  3. Wrap the nails (together with the soaked cotton pads) in aluminum foil and wait for 10 – 15 minutes.
  4. Remove the cotton pads and rinse with water

After using lemon juice on your nails you should apply hand cream on your nails and hands. Repeat the process the next day until you are happy with the result.

6-Let the perfume last longer :

If you want to keep the fragrance of perfumes longer on the skin it is necessary to apply it immediately after the shower as the humidity of the body will help in this.

7-Amazing hacks for a bright smile :

Keep Your Dental Appointments

I’m a big tea drinker, so I am always getting stains on my teeth.  For some reason, it seems to collect behind my front bottom teeth.  Luckily I keep regular dental appointments and my hygienist is a rock star who diligently gets them back off every six months.  Keeping those slightly annoying dental appointments is a big thing I do to keep my smile bright.

Drink Water After Coffee or Red Wine

Now most articles about how to keep your smile bright would tell you to stay away from drinks that stain your teeth like coffee, tea or red wine.  For me, tea and red wine are two things I love and bring me joy so I’d rather just deal with the stains.  My trick is to keep water nearby after you drink a staining drink and rinse your mouth out as soon as possible.  Bonus points if you happen to be home and can brush your teeth after drinking.

8-life hacks for the toothbrush :

Spray a bit of hair spray on a toothbrush and use it to comb your eyebrows into place. This also works for taming hair flyaways!

9-Eliminate Acne with a Pepto Bismol Face Mask :

There are countless at-home remedies for clearing up acne breakouts—but no matter what you try, it’s nearly impossible to get rid of those unsightly bumps immediately. When you’re in need of a quick fix, try improving your skin and hiding your zits with a splash of Pepto-Bismol.

This popular pink stomach soother can take your face from acne-ridden to smooth and clear in just 10 minutes. Its medicinal qualities are exactly what make it such a powerful beauty tool. Pepto-Bismol contains salicylic acid, the same ingredient as expensive acne-curing creams and masks. Additionally, the bubblegum-colored liquid offers aspirin and beta hydroxy acid, both of which reduce inflammation—minimizing the redness of any leftover acne.

Use a makeup brush to apply Pepto-Bismol onto to any particularly troublesome spots on your skin. Don’t dilute or mix it with any other solution; just let it sit for 10 minutes. Once the time is up, rinse or wipe it off carefully—leaving any trace of the mask will give your skin a pink tint.

12-Quickly Clean Your Hair with Dryer Sheets:

Dryer sheets are a scented wonder when it comes to laundry, and they can work that same magic on your hair during particularly dry weather.

Discovering your hair is full of static is annoying, to say the least. Prevent it from clinging to your skin and shocking you by rubbing a dryer sheet over your strands. A quick once-over will stop even the most static-friendly ponytail from causing problems.

As an added bonus, you’ll also refresh your ‘do, as the dryer sheet’s scent will leave a little trace of freshness behind.

13-Help Makeup Slide Off with Olive Oil:

Tired of fighting to remove your waterproof makeup each night? Stop putting your skin through the torture of repeated scrubbing and use olive oil instead.

Though applying olive oil onto your already oily and dirty face might sound counterintuitive, using olive oil instead of water will give you a little more of a glow. Water and chemically-based cleansers strip our sensitive skin, drying it out in the process. Olive oil, on the other hand, dissolves the gross, dirty oil hanging out on your face—and this dissolving power is enough to break down tough products like waterproof eyeliner and mascara.

Forget turning on your bathroom faucet; instead, open your kitchen cabinet and fill your hands with olive oil. Once you’re finished giving your face a gentle scrub with the oil, rinse it off—and watch your makeup disappear down the drain.

14-perfect jeans

To pick out the perfect pair of jeans, you need to keep a few things in mind:

  • There is a perfect cut for every body type.
  • Go a size smaller than is comfortable in the store. Otherwise, the jeans will stretch and ruin your look.
  • Dark colors will always look more sophisticated and open more options outfit-wise.
  • Check the stitching, pockets, and stretch of the fabric, even if you shop in a high-end store.

15-Wide horizontal stripes

The only thing worse than horizontal stripes on clothing is wide and bright horizontal stripes. The kind of skirt seen in the left-hand picture is the best outfit…if your goal is to turn an elegant figure into a shapeless sack. A dress with a single color, a tiny print, and a wide black belt at the waist, on the other hand, will emphasize your best features and make you look much slimmer.

However, it may take a little bit longer to show improvement.

21. Mascara Wands for Your Eyebrows:

Sometimes my eyebrows can get out of control but that’s where mascara wands come in handy.

After you apply mascara, wipe the wand and brush your eyebrows,” says Turnbow. “This trick will add a touch of pigment while ensuring that all hairs will stay in place.”
